Pit and Dark Pit: Reunited Brothers part 1

There was once a boy named Jack. He had black hair and red eyes. He usually wore a black and grey hoodie with grey jeans and black sneakers. He was waiting for his little brother, Jake.

"Jack!" a familiar voice called. Jack turned around and saw Jake running towards him.

"Jeez, what took you so long?" Jack asked, with an annoyed expression.

"Sorry, my friend Rose needed help carrying her books." Jake replied. "Oh, by the way, is it okay if we drive Penny home? Her dad is at work."

"You mean that bratty girl in your class?" asked Jack.

"She's not bratty! She's actually pretty nice." Jake said.

But just then, a teenage girl with blueish hair zoomed by on a bike and threw a newspaper at them.

"Ow!" Jake yelped. 

"Lucy! I said throw the newspaper to them, not at them!" a teenage boy with white hair and a dark blue hoodie yelled at the girl.

"It isn't my fault, Robin!" the girl said, stopping her bike. 

"Sorry!" the boy said to them, running off to go catch up with the girl.

Jake picked up the newspaper and read it. He gasped after reading the article.

"Jack, look at this!" Jake handed the newspaper to his brother.

Jack read the article, his eyes widening in fear.

Murderer on the loose! 

A man has been murdering children of all ages! 

Here is a list of the children who have vanished and have

had their bodies found:

Isaac Emblem

Sammy Metroy

"The murders haven't been happening here, right?" Jake asked, with fear in his eyes.

"I-I don't know. But we have to find Penny and get her home and then we head home." said Jack.

Jack may have thought Jake was annoying, but he'd sacrifice everything to protect his little brother.

Just then, screams could be heard. The two brothers rushed over and went to see what was happening.

There was a huge crowd, and in the middle of it, a girl with blonde hair and a blue dress lied dead in a pool of blood.

It was Rose.

Jake's heart shattered into tiny pieces right when he saw Rose just lying there, lifeless. His best friend since kindergarten was just lying there, dead. He rushed through the crowd and fell to his knees and instantly burst into tears. He was right next to her, sobbing. Jack helped his brother up and hugged him. Jake cried into his brother's shoulder.

"How can this be fair?! She didn't do anything wrong!" Jake sobbed.

Jack didn't say anything. What kind of person would kill an innocent fifth grader?

                                                               ...A murderer. That's who.
